I want to lay out what/why of my website, its raison d'être.

To do this, I want to share a quote from an article I was reading recently:

In the digital age, we are hyperconnected and hypersaturated with one another and with content. We are perpetually shown inexhaustible storehouse of possible selves in content to emulate or absorb; thus, to actively curate content is a vital technology of the self: processing overwhelming abundance, navigating the social realm, and creating artworks of the self. ... From commonplace books to Tumblr, curation acts as a transformation not only of text but also of the self: the curator processes, performs, and organizes their lived experience, creating a new whole rendered on the page or screen.

Although it uses more semicolons then I was advised to in English class, that quote sums up what is beautiful about the internet, and it explains what I want out of building my own little corner of the web.

I hope this website acts as a "curation" of myself.

The pages housed here may not be particularly groundbreaking or exciting, but they are a sandbox in which I get to play with my identity. And coincidentally, it allows you to play with me too!
